While the artists’ time in residence is generously supported by our patrons and partners, The Residency is now fundraising to extend its community and ensure that artists receive sustained support. Benefactors will positively impact the equality disparity in the arts, as well as being invited to exclusive programming. Contributions will ensure that artists are provided with mentorship, supported with their studio fees and promoted through programming and exhibition.

We’re also looking for further partners and sponsors to create a fully-funded programme and community for artists.

As we grow, we plan to expand our programming beyond the residency, assisting artists with costs associated with their studio practice. This year, 100% of tax deductible (in the U.S.) donations will go to:

  • Establishing a studio fund for our artists;

  • Working towards an exhibition partner to promote the past and future residence artists’ works to a global audience;

  • Implementing a mentorship scheme and network plan that others can support, broadening The Residency ecosystem;

  • Providing additional bursaries for artists included in the project;

  • Organising educational events that support artists, including workshops and talks;

  • Providing further residency opportunities for the artists involved.

    The Residency is fiscally sponsored by AHA Projects, a California nonprofit and qualified as exempt under Section 501(c)3 with an EIN of 83-21388899.

    Special thanks to Christian Levett and the Rona Silver Rutchik Artist Support Fund for their generosity.

    Thank you to our donors:
